On the11th feb , the box stood at £190. There are now 14 keys gone, and 6 left in the bag waiting to be bought and tried.
On the 16/2 of Feb, half of the box
was up to be won at £80. We put all of the teams on a wheel and spin it, and whichever team is lucky enough to be selected gets a chance to dip their hand into our bag of keys to see if they get the one which opens the box.
On the 16 of Feb we got halfway across the board and got hit with a pair. (There's nothing for a pair in this game, so the money now rolls over with a starting figure of £30
on the 23rd July we handed over the quiz reigns to one of our regular players Ray who is also the captain of pytchley cricket club. so we now take £20 per week to our Parkinsons charity and the remainder raised on the night go's to Pytchley cricket club. always best to book a table as the quiz gets busy.
Every Tuesday we bring you the Overstone Arms Quiz night hosted by Ray, who is raising funds for the Pytchley Cricket Club established 1963, with £20 going to Parkinson's UK every week.
Last food orders on the night are at 7.30, the quiz starts at 8pm with a picture round, followed by 4 rounds which give you the option to play your Joker card. Then we have a 3,2,1, round, finished with a music round. That’s a lot of fun for 2 hours. The winning team will get to take the nights prize money or open the box to win the contents of the box. Our best box so far contained over £300 . We then have spin the wheel for a chance of a random team to win half the box, finished off with play your cards right.
