🌼 Easter at The Overstone Arms – Four Weeks to Go!

Mother’s Day always sells out so quickly, so I thought I’d better get Easter online nice and early for everyone. As always, we’ve put together a fantastic Easter menu, and thanks to all our lovely outdoor space we’ll be running two sittings, each with an Easter Egg Hunt before the meal.

If you’d like your little ones to take part in the egg hunt — whether you’re joining us for lunch or not — just let us know and we’ll book them in.

Behind the bar we’ve also got a prize draw for a massive 1kg Easter egg, helping raise funds for the much‑loved charity Lions. Tickets are just £1 and the egg could be yours!

🐣 Easter Weekend Plans

Good Friday

• Brand‑new bouncy castle in the garden (all four days!)
• Food served all day
• Fish Pie Special on the menu while it lasts

Saturday

• Food served all day
• Castle in the garden
• Fingers crossed for sunshine!

Easter Sunday

• Lunch will be fully booked, so be quick!
• If you miss out, we’ll try to run our garden menu when the kitchen has the time
• Sunday night is our weekly bingo, raising money for charity with some big prizes up for grabs

Easter Monday

• Hoping to have a face painter in the gardens or barn from 1pm–3pm
• I can already picture the warm weather and happy children running about

Six Nations Rugby

• Tonight: Wales v Ireland
• Tomorrow: showing both matches
• Don’t forget — every match you watch with us earns you a ticket to win the rugby ball.
  Draw takes place during the final match of the tournament. Must be in the room to win!

Super Saturday – 14th March

• All three matches shown in the bar and the secret games room
• We’re also looking forward to welcoming the Corby Bozz Bus again
• Irish stew will be on sale at the bar for Paddy’s Day
  (and hopefully again for our St Patrick’s Day Quiz on Tuesday 17th March)

🏏 Local Quiz This Weekend

Our lovely friends at Pytchley Cricket Club are hosting their own quiz this Saturday 7th, at the Village Hall — 7.30pm for an 8pm start.

🌱 Looking Ahead

On 29th March we officially spring forward into our summer plans. It sometimes feels like a rollercoaster, but we’re aiming to put on four or five live events in the gardens this summer.
